Butchering Chickens on the Farm

Join us for a hands on experience of butchering meat birds from start to finished product. We will go through through each step and share what we have learned over the last ten years. You can be as involved as you want to be and ask questions along the way. Butchering chickens requires the use of knives and is a messy business. Please come prepared to get dirty and a little smelly. Children can come with their parents in an observatory role only and would not participate; one or more parents would all need paid adult tickets. Remember to bring a cooler for your butchered bird. Due to activities, this is a 3 hour session.
