      PLEASE NOTE: Beginning July 7th, the museum will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and will require free advance ticket registration for entry to the galleries. See our website under the VISIT tab for tickets and more information.
      Art Museum members may view the exhibit (with a ticket) beginning June 20.
      Ticket reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of entry time.

      Growing up, mirages fascinated artist Atossa Rahmanifar. Mesmerized by that shimmering haze floating in the air, they seemed to draw her closer but then vanish.

      That fascination continues today and manifests itself in her painting. Through her work, she explores the inherent dualities in mirage: simple yet complex, existent yet illusory, present yet absent. She brings out the duality in mood, the contrasting emotions, the enigma behind the surface, and leaves room for personal interpretation.

      This exhibition is in partnership with Food Finders Food Bank.
