      Jon Keeley - "Adaptations to Fire by Plants, Animals and Humans"
      Dr. Jon Keeley, PhD botanist, works as a fire ecologist and researcher for the US Geological Survey in Sequoia National Park and as an adjunct professor at UCLA.
      He will present a history of the fire patterns in Sequoia forests and scrub lands, the innovative ways that plants and
      animals adapt, address some implications for the future, and touch on the recent massive California wildfires.
      Program starts at 7pm at St Paul’s Episcopal Church at 100 N Hall St, Visalia.
      No host dinner at Marie Callender’s, Mooney and Hwy 198, at 5:15pm. where you can usually meet the speaker
