      Event Description:
      Getting ready for an archival research trip? This workshop will teach you strategies to ensure you make the most of your time in the reading room. You will learn how to prepare for research visits, work efficiently with archivists, find relevant collections, read and use finding aids, and pack for your visit. A behind-the-scenes tour of the Purdue Archives and Special Collections will foster your understanding of the complexitities of special collections’ research centers. Facilitators: Richard Bernier, Katey Watson
